Winter Indoor Lacrosse Clinics for Boys

Note: Clinics are one hour in length and feature the identical curriculum. Participants are grouped by grade level. In the event of a conflict on any particular day, parents are welcome to send their child to a different time slot.
Time and Clinic Descriptions
- 12:30–1:30pm (K–2nd)
This indoor clinic is designed for beginning and intermediate level players who want to learn lacrosse in a fun atmosphere. We focus primarily on stick skills and teach boys the basics of the game, such as throwing, catching, cradling, ground balls, shooting, dodging and defense. Only lacrosse sticks are needed for this clinic (no pads).
- 1:30–2:30 pm (K–6th)
This clinic is designed for boys who are new to lacrosse and those who have been playing for a few years. Clinics will teach the fundamentals of lacrosse, including throwing, catching, cradling, ground balls, dodging, shooting, and defense. For K–2nd graders, focus is on teaching the basics of the game and the fundamentals. For 3–6th graders, we will reinforce the fundamentals, while also introducing the concepts of cutting, clearing, double-teaming, and team offense and defense. Players are divided by ability level, but friends can always be placed together upon request.
Choose 6-, 7-, or 8-week sessions:
- 6 sessions: $220 Early Bird through 12/15; $230 after 12/15
- 7 sessions: $255 Early Bird through 12/15; $265 after 12/15
- 8 sessions: $285 Early Bird through 12/15; $295 after 12/15
K–2nd grade: required equipment includes: lacrosse stick
3rd–6th grade: required equipment includes: lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, and a mouthpiece.
There are no make-up dates for this program. In the event that Sum It Up needs to cancel a session due to extreme weather or an unforeseen conflict, participants are invited to join us at any winter clinic session in 2017.
Sum it Up will refund registration fees, less a $25 admin charge, for cancellations communicated to us in writing at least two weeks prior to the program start date. No refunds will be issued within two weeks of program start date.
