Sum It Up Lacrosse is designed to make the sport of lacrosse fun and easy to learn. It’s a non-profit organization that offers lacrosse camps, clinics, and other programs in New Jersey for beginner and intermediate lacrosse players. Children feel at ease with a lacrosse stick in their hands, and they feel connected to the coaches who genuinely care. Sum It Up’s culture and staff strive to help children feel excited to learn lacrosse and be part of a team. Sum It Up’s lacrosse programs are open to girls in K-9th grades and boys in K-6th grades. Camps and clinics welcome players from any school or town that’s accessible to our New Jersey locations. Sum It Up welcomes children of all levels of play and encourages you to sign your child up for one of our camps regardless of your family’s ability to pay.
Sum It Up Lacrosse and Laura Gump In the News
“… Albines said he never would have formed the Queens of Lacrosse if it wasn’t for Laura Gump, founder of Sum It Up Lacrosse, a youth program in New Jersey. Albines met Gump when he took his daughters Marianna, 17, and Fiorella, 15, to one of her summer camps. He picked Gump’s brain and told her he was thinking about starting his own program. When Albines got cold feet and nearly backed out, Gump wouldn’t let him.
“I could tell from having gotten to know him over the years that he was just the perfect personality to run a program like the one I had because he’s just so positive and encouraging,” Gump said.

Laura Gump received the 2015 Visionary of the Year award from B.I.G. B.I.G. (Believe Inspire Grow) is a national organization dedicated to building entrepreneurship and leadership opportunities for women of all ages.
In June 2015, the Summit Area YMCA congratulated Laura Gump as the 2015 Shuart Reed Award recipient. The award is given to those who exemplify Shuart Reed’s (Summit Area YMCA’s General Secretary from 1935–1943) commitment to the betterment of the Summit area community.
